Job Summary

This role involves supporting the operation and modernization of one of Germany's largest IT infrastructures as a primary digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces. The Associate IT Expert will primarily manage logistics for the Data Center warehouse, overseeing inventory, storage management, picking, shipping, and disposal processes. Key daily tasks include supporting the pre-configuration and installation of IT components, managing complex cabling according to strict guidelines, and ensuring meticulous documentation of all activities, often utilizing SAP systems. The ideal candidate holds a degree or vocational training in IT or Logistics, possesses initial professional experience in both fields, and is proficient in SAP and ticketing systems. This position requires fluent German, nationwide travel readiness, and participation in the datacenter on-call rotation (3-4 weeks annually), offering a chance to contribute directly to national security and digital capability.
