This leadership role involves taking charge of the IT Service Division at a university, focusing on user-centric IT topics and collaborating closely with the Digital Transformation and IT Infrastructure departments. The Head of Division will provide technical leadership to a motivated team, emphasizing a supportive and communicative management style, and focusing on staff development. Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, strategic planning, and optimizing critical areas such as User and Application Support, Endpoint Management, Identity Management, IT Documentation, and IT Contract Management. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field and brings initial professional leadership experience, strong German language skills (C2), and expertise in IT infrastructure systems and project management.
