Job Summary

The Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine is seeking a skilled CAFM Administrator and IT Application Specialist to lead the implementation and ongoing support of a Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system, starting January 1, 2026. This critical role involves the full digitalization of building operations, focusing on optimizing space utilization and reducing operating costs across MDC locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include system administration, managing data migration from various sources (CAD, CSV, Excel), providing user support and training, and creating detailed process documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Facility Management or Informatics and possesses multi-year experience in CAFM systems and IT application support, coupled with strong analytical skills to translate complex data into technical recommendations. This position offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation within an international, cutting-edge scientific environment, requiring fluent German and intermediate English proficiency.

Experience

  • Routine experience in the support and administration of IT systems and/or applications
