This role seeks an experienced Industrial Electrician or Control Systems Technician to join a mechanical engineering market leader specializing in custom control units used globally. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the precise wiring of components within prefabricated switchgear, strictly following EPlan drawings, and installing essential devices like contactors, switching instruments, and relays. A critical part of the job is performing thorough fault checks and troubleshooting on the finished control units. Candidates must possess a relevant technical vocational qualification (such as Electrician or Panel Builder) and demonstrated experience in control cabinet wiring, coupled with proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics.
