Job Summary

This is a critical leadership role for a Head of Engineering at a leading pharmaceutical contract manufacturing site in Marburg, specializing in innovative solid dosage forms. The successful candidate will lead and develop the entire Engineering department, which includes Production Technology, Building Services, Qualification, and Project Management teams. A core focus of the role is ensuring the high reliability of all plant, equipment, and infrastructure, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory standards, including GMP and legal requirements. The Head of Engineering will manage the annual technical budget (CAPEX), drive technological site development, and oversee major investment projects from planning through qualification. Reporting to the Site Manager and serving as a key member of the Site Leadership Team, this position requires a highly experienced, solution-oriented leader with proven project and change management expertise who can contribute strategically to the company's future direction.
