Job Summary

This role is for a highly motivated Research Associate to join the Eurofins GfA Lab Service GmbH team in Hamburg, focusing on cutting-edge analytical chemistry. The primary responsibilities include initiating and executing complex method development projects, particularly in the ultratrace range, and optimizing existing analytical processes. You will be instrumental in advancing methods using state-of-the-art GC Orbitrap systems and developing rapid LC methods on brand-new LC-MSMS systems. A key component of the job involves driving laboratory automation and coordinating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must possess a university degree in natural sciences (Chemistry or Food Chemistry preferred) and professional experience in instrumental analytics, specifically GC-MS and LC-MSMS, and the analysis of organic pollutants. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to global health and safety within an innovative, international company, initially on a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential for permanent employment.
