As an IT Security & Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and security of complex network infrastructures within a leading pharmaceutical/biotech environment. Day-to-day tasks include the administration of diverse network components such as switches, routers, and firewalls, alongside the maintenance and oversight of Linux systems. A key focus of the role is the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring strict compliance with evolving security regulations, including GDPR, NIS2, and the IT Security Act. You will also use monitoring and log systems to guarantee continuous infrastructure operation. To succeed, you must possess several years of professional experience, deep expertise in firewall and network architecture, active/passive network technology, and a strong security consciousness.
