Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated Testing Technician specializing in Environmental Measurement Technology and Air Pollution Control within TÜV Rheinland’s Industrial Service division. Day-to-day responsibilities involve preparing and executing technical tests, often supporting a test engineer, or independently handling smaller assignments related to environmental compliance. A core function is performing meticulous quality checks on all measurement and testing equipment, including calibration gases, strictly adhering to the internal Quality Management system. You will also be responsible for the routine maintenance and repair of this specialized equipment. Furthermore, you will assist in the logistical planning, procurement, and provision of necessary laboratory resources, support actual emissions measurements, and contribute to data evaluation and the finalization of measurement reports. Candidates must possess completed technical vocational training (e.g., as an Electrician or Industrial Master) and ideally have initial experience in device testing and maintenance. The position requires fluent German, a Class B driver's license, and a willingness to travel for multi-day field service assignments.
