Job Summary

This Senior Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Specialist role at TÜV Rheinland involves ensuring the operational safety of industrial components and systems through advanced material testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, performing, and evaluating complex NDT activities, including the use of state-of-the-art technologies such as Phased-Array Ultrasound and precision 3D Endoscopy for specialized testing (e.g., hollow shaft testing in pumped-storage plants). Day-to-day tasks include preparing test objects and equipment, creating detailed test instructions compliant with regulations, conducting on-site or laboratory inspections, and producing comprehensive written test reports. Key requirements include a technical background (ideally as a Material Tester), a minimum of five years of post-certification NDT experience, and Level 3 certification in at least four NDT methods (DIN EN ISO 9712). Required Skills

Education
