Job Summary

This role involves working as a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Materials Tester within TÜV Rheinland's Industry Service and Cybersecurity division, contributing to the safety and integrity of industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. The primary responsibilities include planning, evaluating, and executing various non-destructive material tests for national and international clients. Daily tasks focus heavily on performing specialized testing methods such as Magnetic Particle Testing, Dye Penetrant Testing, Visual Inspection, Radiographic Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing. A crucial part of the job is meticulous documentation of all test results and conducting standardized tests on diverse materials, often requiring travel to customer sites. Candidates must have a technical or craft apprenticeship, ideally in materials testing, electrical engineering, or metalworking. Desired qualifications include NDT certification (DIN EN ISO 9712 Level 1 or 2) or foundational knowledge of welding technology.
