Job Summary
This Doctoral Researcher position, based in Brandenburg an der Havel, is a 36-month, part-time role (26 hours/week) focused on executing specific aspects of a DFG project concerning the regulation and function of PRELP in tumors. The successful candidate will be responsible for experimentally investigating PRELP's function, gene, and protein expression, developing and implementing new characterization methods, ensuring rigorous data quality, and analyzing results to correlate them with clinical parameters. Key qualifications include a completed university degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field, coupled with strong expertise in molecular/cell biological and immunological techniques. Basic knowledge of tumor biology and immunology is also necessary, along with fluent written and spoken English skills.
