Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer focused on maintaining and optimizing critical plant infrastructure, ensuring high safety and environmental standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include interacting closely with plant and maintenance teams, managing various utility networks such as gas reduction stations, steam networks, water supply (potable, process, and fire), wastewater treatment, and site traffic routes. A key focus will be on developing and implementing strategies to reduce unplanned incidents and acting as a primary contact for disturbances. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Energy and Environmental Technology or Mechanical Engineering) and demonstrate fluent communication skills in both German and English. Professional experience, particularly in managing utility networks, is highly desirable for success in this challenging and responsible full-time position.
