Job Summary

This role calls for an experienced Expert/Assessor in Photovoltaic Systems to join TÜV Rheinland's Products division, focusing on ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in the international solar market. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed test plans for field failure analysis, supporting crucial expert opinions and warranty claims, and providing expert technical consulting on quality assurance and risk minimization to international investors, developers, and EPCs. Key requirements include a background as an Electrical Master Craftsman, Technician, or an Electrical Engineering graduate, coupled with profound knowledge in solar technology and metrological systems like thermography and IV curve analysis. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Electrical Master Craftsman or Technician; or an Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience

  • Professional experience in leading PV projects for international customers globally
  • Experience in quality control, inspection, and reliability assessment of components for solar power plants
  • Ideally, experience in solar technology and the application of photovoltaic components
  • Profound expert knowledge in the application of metrological systems for collecting system characteristic data, such as thermography, insulation measurement, and IV curve analysis
