This role seeks an experienced Software Architect to define and maintain the core software architecture for critical High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) and Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) control systems. The primary focus involves implementing Model-Based Design (MBD) and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, leveraging strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink to develop and optimize real-time control algorithms. You will ensure architectural solutions are modular, reusable, and compliant with industry quality standards, supporting integration and validation in simulation and hardware-in-the-loop environments. This position is crucial for enabling the energy transition by designing future-proof, scalable control systems for reliable and sustainable power grids. Candidates must possess a university degree in a relevant engineering field and proven experience in power electronics or energy systems control development, driving code generation workflows.
