Job Summary

The Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) is seeking a dedicated Specialist to manage and optimize organizational and human resources processes. This role is crucial for maintaining and advancing the functionality of the electronic case file system (VBS/E-Akte Bund) used within the agency. Day-to-day responsibilities include initiating and guiding measures to optimize organizational structures and processes, conducting formal organizational studies, performing job evaluations, and providing expert consultation to specialized departments. Furthermore, you will actively support the development and implementation of needs-based personnel development programs and recruitment instruments. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Economics or Informatics with an organizational focus, or possesses equivalent administrative qualifications. Success in this position requires high decision-making capability, goal orientation, resilience, strong communication skills, and creativity. This is a responsible, varied, and fixed-term position (until December 31, 2027) offering flexible hours and a choice of location (Salzgitter or Berlin).

Required Skills

Education

University degree (FH Diploma or Bachelor) in Economics or Informatics with a focus on Organization, OR Qualification for the higher general administrative service, OR Successful completion of the Angestelltenlehrgang II (Employee Training Course II), OR Comparable Bachelor's degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in organizational analysis and structure optimization
  • Experience in operating or maintaining electronic case file processing systems (VBS/E-Akte Bund)
  • Experience in conducting organizational studies and job evaluations
