Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Materials Specialist focused on planning and managing complex case hardening processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining suitable process parameters, selecting appropriate furnace technologies, and choosing effective quenching methods. A critical component of the job involves rigorous quality control, documentation of the heat treatment process, and conducting essential materials testing, such as hardness measurements and microstructure assessments. The specialist will also be responsible for analyzing components and investigating failure cases to ensure stringent product quality standards are met. Candidates must possess a degree in Materials Science or Materials Engineering and ideally bring professional experience in heat treatment technology, along with knowledge of relevant testing procedures and furnace technologies, to help clients advance their technological capabilities.
