Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Biotechnology Technician to support pharmaceutical and life science production processes. Key responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of specialized systems for recombinant protein purification, specifically utilizing Ultrafiltration, Diafiltration, and Chromatography systems. You will be responsible for preparing buffer solutions, packing chromatography columns, and executing production processes, ensuring strict adherence to GMP guidelines, including meticulous batch documentation. Furthermore, you will perform essential in-process analyses, such as measuring pH, conductivity, and performing UV scans, alongside assessing microbial counts. The ideal candidate holds a completed technical qualification (e.g., CTA, BTA, or equivalent chemical/pharmaceutical technician background) and preferably brings prior experience in a GMP production environment. Strong organizational skills, team spirit, and the physical capability to handle loads up to 30 kg are essential, along with the flexibility to work shifted hours and weekends.
