Job Summary

This role involves customizing and automating the installation of Linux platforms, based on Ubuntu, for Communications Intelligence (COMINT) solutions deployed on physical and virtualized servers. The IT Engineer will be responsible for implementing, extending, and maintaining administration and configuration scripts, and designing robust system monitoring solutions. A core part of the job is conducting comprehensive tests and analyses to ensure product functionality and reliability, alongside creating detailed technical documentation. Key requirements include a technical degree or training in IT, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications, coupled with professional experience in system development or maintenance. Candidates must possess strong knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Proxmox), containerization, networking, and scripting languages like Bash, PowerShell, or Python. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and willingness to travel internationally (up to 30%) to support customer systems.
