Job Summary

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the hardware design of complex electrical controls for machinery and plant construction, focusing heavily on control cabinet manufacturing. Key day-to-day tasks include developing detailed constructive solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant norms and standards (including North American standards like UL508A and NFPA79), creating risk assessments, and generating comprehensive manufacturing and customer documentation using ePLAN tools, including 3D cabinet layouts. This role involves close collaboration with production teams to optimize designs for manufacturing readiness and requires technical consultation with customers to clarify inquiries and develop economically favorable solutions. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive professional experience in electrical design, and proficiency in English (written and spoken) to thrive in this demanding and detail-oriented full-time position.
