Job Summary

This role involves supporting product development within the critical field of food microbiology and safety, utilizing advanced molecular bioanalytical methods like real-time PCR and ddPCR. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on laboratory work, including performing microbiological tasks in S2/S3 protection level labs, enriching food samples, isolating nucleic acids, and executing quantitative PCR assays. You will also be tasked with preparing essential reagents (buffers, media) and collaborating closely with scientific staff to develop new PCR mixes and enrichment protocols. Key qualifications include a completed BTA/CTA training or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, coupled with practical experience in molecular biology or food analysis.
