Job Summary
This role as an IT Hardware and Software Support Specialist involves providing essential 1st and 2nd level support for the State Administration Office, primarily focusing on hardware, software, and telecommunications infrastructure. Key daily tasks include managing the IT hotline and ticketing system, maintaining operating systems (Linux/Windows), administering various IT assets like printers, mini-PCs, and mobile devices, and managing the VoIP telephone system. A crucial component is the external service provider management, covering contract, performance, and quality oversight. Candidates must possess a 3-year vocational qualification in IT systems or equivalent professional experience, coupled with expertise in Windows/Unix/Linux environments and standard office software. This position offers a stable public sector environment, flexible work schedules, and opportunities for professional growth, requiring a willingness to travel for on-site support across various regional locations.
Required Skills
Education
Minimum three-year vocational training as Information and Telecommunications Systems Electronics Technician or IT Specialist - System Integration, or comparable qualification.
Experience

- Experience managing telecommunications endpoints and IT peripherals
