Job Summary

This role seeks a technically adept 2nd Level IT Support Specialist responsible for the administration and maintenance of robust Windows and/or Linux environments. Day-to-day tasks involve the analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex technical disruptions across the IT infrastructure, including servers and networks. The specialist will collaborate closely with 1st and 3rd level teams, optimize system performance using monitoring tools (like SolarWinds or Checkmk), and ensure system security through regular patching and policy implementation. Key qualifications include current knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, experience with networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and familiarity with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet). This position offers an unrestricted contract, exposure to modern cloud and security technologies (Azure, AWS, EDR, Splunk), and the opportunity to contribute to significant IT projects and process optimization initiatives. Excellent German language skills (C1 minimum) are mandatory for effective communication and documentation.
