Job Summary

This full-time IT System Administrator role, based in Kavelstorf, focuses on driving technological innovation within a leading wholesale group specializing in building services. The core responsibilities involve providing comprehensive 2nd-Level Support, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, and managing end-user devices including computers, printers, and network switches. Key tasks include planning and executing IT projects, managing user access rights and accounts (Identity and Access Management) within the ERP system, and ensuring robust system security through measures like server hardening and patch management. The administrator will also be responsible for the maintenance and development of the company's VoIP telephone system and proactively improving internal IT processes. Candidates must possess professional experience in Windows Server maintenance, virtualization technologies (Hypervisors), and network configuration (VLANs, ACLs, HPE/Aruba). Success requires strong analytical skills, service orientation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
