Job Summary

This critical role involves acting as a Backend Developer, primarily focused on the development and continuous enhancement of a high-performance booking and ticketing platform for a major German client (Deutsche Bahn). Day-to-day responsibilities include developing robust microservices backends within a modern cloud environment, integrating complex booking and payment processes, and ensuring the highest standards of security, performance, and scalability. A significant focus is placed on transitioning to a modern Cloud Architecture utilizing CI/CD pipelines and comprehensive test automation. Candidates must possess a completed Master’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, coupled with at least three years of experience as a Lead Developer in complex IT projects, ideally within the logistics sector. Proficiency is required across a broad tech stack including Java EE, Docker, Jenkins, and cloud environments like AWS.
