Job Summary

This role involves supporting a globally unique heavy ion accelerator facility at a renowned research institute in Darmstadt, which is used by international researchers to gain new insights into the structure of matter and the development of the universe. The technician will primarily focus on the planning and preparation of grounding systems and electrical connectors, requiring close collaboration and coordination with internal subject matter experts. Key responsibilities include detailed documentation of materials and work processes. Candidates must possess professional experience in plant construction and solid CAD knowledge. Good English language skills, both written and spoken, are essential, along with the willingness to work on-site in Darmstadt. This full-time, permanent position offers regulated working hours (39 hours/week) and compensation based on the BAP collective agreement plus allowances.
