Job Summary

This role involves acting as a key developer for a modern sales platform, focusing heavily on backend development and the integration of new interfaces between the sales backend and customer systems for projects related to Deutsche Bahn. Day-to-day responsibilities include the programming, implementation, and customization of technical components, modules, and databases, while strictly adhering to development standards. The developer will design, implement, and support the lifecycle of critical interfaces, perform comprehensive error analysis, and ensure high code quality through continuous testing and documentation. A central part of the job is driving the continuous development of existing software products, implementing new release and rollout processes, and developing test strategies, including automation. Candidates must bring approximately five years of software development experience, practical knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js for middleware development, and expertise in TDD, CI, Git, and agile methodologies like Scrum. Success requires a self-organized, analytical approach and strong collaboration within agile teams and with Product Owners.
