The Product Support Engineer is crucial in shaping and executing the technical support strategy for Philips' patient monitoring systems, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce ownership costs globally. This office-based role involves providing expert technical support, diagnosing and resolving complex system issues, and acting as a technical consultant to internal teams, R&D, and key customers. Daily tasks include managing critical customer escalations, driving improvements in product support processes, and ensuring product supportability during the design phase. Candidates must possess a degree in medical informatics or a related discipline, coupled with broad technical knowledge of Philips Central Station (PIC iX) and proficiency in various enterprise technologies, including SQL Server, VMWare, and networking. Excellent troubleshooting skills and fluency in English are mandatory for success in this influential position.
