Job Summary

EITIE GmbH, an established IT system house based in Wernigerode, is seeking an engaged IT System Administrator to strengthen their team supporting businesses and public institutions. This role is central to maintaining and evolving the company's IT infrastructure, focusing primarily on Windows-based server and network structures. Daily responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and administration of hardware/software, managing user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, and ensuring robust IT security and data protection compliance. The administrator will also provide essential 1st and 2nd-level support, troubleshoot issues, and actively participate in system migration and infrastructure modernization projects. Candidates must have a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with fundamental knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Exchange, and virtualization technologies like Hyper-V or VMware.
