Job Summary

This role as a High Voltage Grid Planner involves crucial technical work ensuring the stability and compatibility of the high-voltage network. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing connection requests for generation facilities, modeling and calculating high-voltage grids using the specialized INTEGRAL simulation software, and conducting detailed short-circuit current and load flow calculations. You will be responsible for technical checks, including verifying short-circuit resistance, voltage maintenance, and current carrying capacity, and ensuring grid compatibility according to VDE-AR-N 4120 standards. Communication with technical departments and regional managers is also a key component. Success requires a completed degree in Electrical or Energy Technology and relevant professional experience in the high-voltage sector.
