Join the GBA Group, an international Life Science service provider, as a Biological Laboratory Technician specializing in Microbiology in Hamburg. This permanent, full-time role involves core laboratory activities crucial for consumer protection and product development. Day-to-day responsibilities include the precise weighing and preparation of samples for microbiological analysis, utilizing various techniques such as counting, detection, and MPN procedures. You will be responsible for subsequent processing steps like subculturing and streaking, as well as the final evaluation of microbiological results. Furthermore, the role requires performing preparatory tasks, media testing, and maintaining reference strains. Candidates must possess a completed BTA or Biological Laboratory Technician qualification, or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, coupled with proven experience in sterile work within a microbiological laboratory setting. A structured, accurate, and team-oriented approach is essential, along with excellent German communication skills (C1).
