Job Summary
The Municipality of Schwalmtal is seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join their Central Administrative Services department. This crucial role involves the comprehensive administration of the local network and ensuring the seamless operation of all municipal IT systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the procurement and operation of hardware and software, executing data backups, documenting system configurations, and installing end-user workstations. A key function is resolving hardware and software disruptions efficiently using a ticket system and implementing new procedures to advance the digitalization of administrative processes. Candidates must possess completed vocational IT training (such as an IT Specialist for System Integration) or an Informatics degree, coupled with practical experience in Windows Server 2016 or higher, Active Directory, VMWare virtualization, and network environments. Required Skills
Education

Experience
- Professional experience in IT system administration or IT systems management
- Multiple years in System Administration/IT if holding an Administrative Specialist qualification
- Experience with Windows Server 2016 or higher, Active Directory, VMWare, and networking environments
