Job Summary

This is a strategic and comprehensive Facility Manager role within a globally leading machine engineering company specializing in pharmaceutical technology. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and monitoring of all maintenance, renovation, and construction activities across the company's production, administrative, and technical facilities in Switzerland. Key responsibilities include managing the strategic maintenance budget, overseeing the lifecycle planning of buildings and technical systems, and leading various expansion and renovation projects. Furthermore, you will ensure operational safety, manage technical contracts, optimize building operation concepts, and coordinate external service providers. This role offers high autonomy, significant scope for implementing your own ideas, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, rapidly growing international environment, collaborating closely with Global HQ and EMEA teams. Success requires a relevant technical degree, advanced FM training, and significant leadership experience in a similar technical industrial setting.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology/FM, or a similar relevant technical field, complemented by further education/advanced training in Facility Management.

Experience

  • Long-term professional experience in a similar leadership position
  • Experience as a Safety Officer in technical Facility Management of buildings and production facilities
  • Professional experience in the producing, technical industry (potentially highly regulated environments like cleanroom production)
  • Experience in leading and coordinating expansion and renovation projects in the technical industry
