Job Summary
This role involves working as a Software Developer focused on production-related development within the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Surveying of Lower Saxony (LGLN). The core responsibilities include developing process chains for generating photogrammetric and 3D products, maintaining existing legacy systems until their modernization, and actively participating in the modernization process. You will also configure third-party software (specifically FME-Flow) and support security analysis tasks, including threat modeling and risk assessment, in collaboration with Cloud and Security experts. This position is ideal for entry-level professionals with a relevant Bachelor's degree, offering an opportunity to work in an innovative, future-oriented team focused on transforming the state's central geodata services into the digital age. The role requires strong technical skills in Geoinformatics, database systems like PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and proficiency in German (C1) and English (B2).

Experience
- Professional experience in storing and processing geodata
- Experience in ER modeling and automation with workflows, scripts, and container technologies
- Professional experience in software development (entry-level applicants are encouraged)

- Knowledge in Cloud Technologies and creating risk reports/descriptions including protection needs assessment and threat analysis is advantageous.
