Job Summary

This IT Team Lead role involves the strategic leadership and organization of the IT department for the Zoologischer Garten Berlin AG, a major leisure institution attracting over 3.5 million annual visitors. Key responsibilities include managing the IT team, optimizing the entire IT infrastructure—covering servers, networks, cloud services, and specialized park technology like cameras and PA systems—and driving IT strategy to align with corporate goals. The successful candidate will lead IT projects introducing innovative technologies, implement robust IT security and data protection measures, manage the IT budget, and coordinate external IT service providers. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, coupled with extensive professional experience in IT, deep knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Azure, AWS), Microsoft 365, and proven expertise in team leadership and project management. This is a crucial, full-time, fixed-term position ensuring smooth IT operations across both the Zoo and Tierpark locations.
