Job Summary
This role is a key part of the digital transformation within the public administration of the Meißen district. The eGovernment Officer will be responsible for the full lifecycle of digital projects, from the introduction of a Document Management System (VIS) across departments, including process analysis and optimization using BPMN, to preparing and executing test phases and transitioning to live systems. The position also involves leading and supporting various eGovernment projects, ensuring collaboration with relevant departments and stakeholders, and developing conceptual and organizational frameworks. A significant part of the role includes user support, training, and creating user guides, as well as managing existing eGovernment solutions and collaborating with external service providers. This is a full-time, permanent position offering flexible working hours and telework options, emphasizing work-life balance within a supportive public sector environment.
Required Skills
Education
• Civil Service qualification for career group 2, first entry level (formerly higher service) in General Administration • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, or completion of Angestelltenlehrgang II (Administrative Specialist or Municipal Economist) • Degree in Administrative Business Administration (VWA), Business Administration (VWA/BA), or Bachelor's in Administrative Informatics or Business Informatics, or comparable qualification • Proficient IT skills
Experience
- Professional experience in eGovernment solutions
- Experience with business process management
- Experience in IT project management is desirable
