Job Summary
This role is for an IT Support Specialist providing crucial 1st and 2nd Level support for internal users at a prominent IT service provider serving public sector clients across Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing user issues via telephone, email, and ticketing systems, as well as administering and supporting Windows-based environments (Windows Server, Windows 10, and 11). A key focus will be active participation in client projects, specifically the migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Candidates must possess a completed IT qualification, such as an IT Specialist for System Integration, coupled with practical experience in both 1st and 2nd Level support. Essential technical skills include confident handling of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT sector, such as IT Specialist for System Integration, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional practical experience in IT support, ideally in both 1st and 2nd Level
- Confident handling of Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Experience in the installation, setup, and maintenance of client systems
