Job Summary
This role is for an Electrical Engineering Service Technician specializing in automation solutions for the renewable energy sector, focusing on maintaining and commissioning over 600 biogas plants domestically and internationally. Day-to-day responsibilities involve performing maintenance, parameterization, and commissioning of complex electrotechnical components and systems. The technician will also be responsible for modernizing and retrofitting existing controls and plants. A core part of the job involves project execution, requiring close coordination with project managers and constructors, alongside providing essential remote maintenance and hotline support. Occasional on-site customer clarification visits are also required. Candidates must possess completed technical vocational training, such as an Electrician or Mechatronics Technician qualification, demonstrate fluent German skills, and be willing to travel approximately 25% of the time.
