Job Summary
This role supports the life-saving mission of DKMS by ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of critical IT systems and applications used in medical collection centers worldwide, specifically focusing on GxP-regulated manufacturing environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing IT systems in a medical context, overseeing external IT service providers according to stringent regulatory frameworks like GxP and GAMP5, and acting as the central point of contact for IT colleagues regarding system operations and development in the CSV/GxP space. The manager will also provide 2nd level support, handle incident and change management processes, and contribute to system documentation and testing. Key requirements include a degree in Informatics or related fields, application support experience, and fluency in both German and English. This position offers a meaningful, permanent role in Munich with flexible working hours and the opportunity to directly contribute to providing second chances at life for blood cancer patients.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Informatics, Bioinformatics, or Business Informatics, or relevant vocational training.
Experience
- Experience in the support and maintenance of applications
- Ideal professional knowledge in a regulated environment (GxP) regarding software development based on GAMP5

Additional
- Permanent full-time contract. Required participation in on-call duty on Sundays and public holidays (approximately 12 Sundays and 5 holidays per year). Must ensure support and service times for manufacturing operations between 7:00 and 18:00.
