Job Summary

This role is for a highly skilled Maintenance Technician at GlobalFoundries, a leading global semiconductor manufacturer, focused on ensuring the continuous efficiency and high quality of complex, high-tech production equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing complex troubleshooting and fault resolution, performing extensive preventive maintenance measures on manufacturing systems and components, and meticulously documenting all repair and maintenance processes. The technician will also be responsible for mentoring other maintainers in addressing recurring equipment malfunctions. Successful candidates must possess a technical skilled worker qualification with several years of relevant maintenance experience, or be a state-certified technician/master craftsman in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. The position requires working directly with tools in cleanrooms and the willingness to participate in a CPS shift system. Intermediate English proficiency is necessary, with encouragement to further develop language skills.
