Job Summary

This role seeks a specialized Project Engineer to manage and execute complex studies focused on electrical power systems analysis, network planning, and grid development for a global energy company. The core responsibilities include planning detailed simulations, modeling diverse electrical network elements—especially those involving power electronics, renewable generation, and storage devices—and integrating them into AC grids through conceptual, feasibility, and tender studies. The professional will be responsible for supervising the performance and project management facets of these studies. A key aspect of the role involves coordinating engineers across varied technical groups and multicultural virtual teams, as well as managing external partners and subcontractors during project execution. Essential qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering and expert knowledge of common power system simulation programs like PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, or PowerFactory, alongside effective communication in both business-level German and English.
