Job Summary

This role seeks an Industrial Electrician or Electronics Technician specializing in the maintenance and commissioning of rail vehicles within the public transport sector in Leipzig. Day-to-day responsibilities involve comprehensive electrical and electronic work, including the maintenance, refurbishment, modification, and new construction of complex assemblies and components. A core function is troubleshooting rail vehicles and components using technical drawings and schematics, alongside performing static and dynamic commissioning procedures at the operational site, ensuring adherence to technical specifications. The ideal candidate must possess a completed relevant electrical technical vocational qualification (such as an Industrial Electronics Technician) and be prepared to work within a regulated 38-hour, 2-shift system (early and middle shifts, Monday to Friday).
