Job Summary

This role as an Engineering Quality Manager at Airbus Defence and Space involves ensuring robust quality assurance across complex engineering projects, focusing specifically on airborne equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring process execution, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and defining necessary corrective and preventive actions to maintain high standards. You will be instrumental in selecting, developing, and implementing quality improvement methods and tools, while also defining and enforcing internal and external quality standards, policies, and processes. A critical aspect of the role is conducting and evaluating product-related audits and monitoring the effectiveness of quality activities across internal and external customer interfaces. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace and possesses significant experience in structural areas, mechanical systems, and airborne equipment development and validation. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for success in this demanding, high-profile position within the aerospace defense sector.
