Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the continuous operation and optimization of production plants, specifically within the food processing sector, through expert electrical and control technology maintenance. The specialist will be responsible for the programming, maintenance, and expansion of various manufacturer's programmable logic controllers (PLCs), including implementing modernization measures to improve plant performance sustainably. Key tasks include developing technical solutions to boost plant availability and process safety, actively participating in technical projects (such as conversions and new installations), and coordinating external contractors for maintenance and project work. The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational training in operational or automation electronics, strong proficiency in Siemens control systems (Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC flexible), and excellent German language skills, along with a willingness to work in a two-shift system.
