Job Summary

This role seeks a Biological Laboratory Technician to join a pharmaceutical company in Idar-Oberstein, focusing on the critical production of cellular medicines in strict adherence to GMP guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities involve ensuring the safety and efficacy of products by maintaining high quality standards, conducting essential development work to transition new technologies from Research and Development (R&D) into the GMP production process, and meticulously documenting all activities for traceability. You will also be responsible for supporting the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and managing general lab operations, including equipment maintenance, calibration, and ordering supplies. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), or similar, possesses advanced skills in handling primary cells or cell lines, and is highly goal-oriented and meticulous. Excellent German and good English skills are required for success in this quality-driven environment.
