Job Summary

This full-time role in Hermsdorf, Germany, involves serving as an Estimator for switchgear construction projects within a successful electrical installation company. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating technical documents, such as wiring diagrams and specifications, into structured cost calculations for bids. Key day-to-day tasks include applying deep technical knowledge of switchgear components for economic project evaluation, managing price inquiries, conducting price comparisons, and optimizing calculations based on supplier feedback. You will also maintain and expand the product database and collaborate closely with Project Management and Procurement to ensure economically sound project structures. This position requires a technical background in electrical engineering or related fields, proven experience in cost estimation, and strong analytical skills, offering varied tasks and excellent future prospects.
