This role seeks a highly qualified Building Hazardous Materials Assessor to join a leading personnel service provider in Europe. The core responsibilities involve conducting thorough inspections and surveys of buildings to identify and evaluate hazardous materials such as asbestos, PCB, and PAH. Day-to-day tasks include taking precise samples according to established German technical rules (TRGS 519/524), developing comprehensive pollutant registers and remediation concepts, and preparing detailed expert reports. A crucial part of the job is consulting clients, building owners, and project stakeholders on necessary demolition, remediation strategies, and occupational safety measures, followed by monitoring the execution of these cleanup activities. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant degree (e.g., Civil Engineering or Architecture), mandatory specific certifications (TRGS 519 Annex 3 and TRGS 524), and at least five years of professional experience in this specialized field.
