Job Summary

The Municipality of Nörvenich is seeking an engaged and persuasive Civil Engineering Technician to strengthen its Department for Civil Engineering and Green Spaces. This vital role involves overseeing municipal deep construction projects, including cost estimation for grant applications, and acting as the client representative for development measures. Day-to-day tasks include supervising the maintenance of the municipal sewage network and roads, managing individual construction projects, inspecting playground equipment, and handling green space management, including tree control and protection statutes. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a state-certified technician in civil engineering, demonstrate strong self-initiative, and be willing to fulfill duties in a citizen-oriented manner.
