Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated Chemical Engineer to manage and execute critical analysis projects related to rocket propellants within the aerospace sector in Lampoldshausen. Day-to-day responsibilities include project steering, developing new chemical analysis procedures, performing detailed analyses of spacecraft propellants (including NVR and storage tests), and generating comprehensive technical documentation (Acceptance Data Packages). You will also be responsible for ensuring laboratory safety protocols (HSE coordination, risk assessment), managing the maintenance of specialized laboratory equipment, and supporting the Head of Department in drafting project proposals. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, coupled with over three years of professional experience in maintenance, aerospace, and technical documentation. Fluency in German and intermediate English skills are mandatory for effective communication and documentation.
