Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position seeks a Development Engineer specializing in Aerospace Electronics to independently conceptualize and design electronic systems, primarily adhering to stringent aviation standards such as DO-254 and DO-160. The role involves end-to-end responsibility, from component layout and prototyping through to series production launch. Key responsibilities include implementing electronic circuits while considering safety requirements (DAL levels), generating comprehensive technical documentation, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, mechanics, manufacturing, and software. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification, deep knowledge of aerospace electronics development, and practical experience with safety-critical electronic components. Proficiency in specific EDA tools like Altium Designer and requirements management tools such as DOORS is highly valued, alongside strong German and English language skills.
