Job Summary

This critical role within Technical Building Management ensures the continuous, 24/7 operational readiness of the supply and safety technical facilities at Sendezentrum 2 (Mainz), a major broadcasting center. The specialist will independently manage complex monitoring and operational tasks for all technical infrastructure, utilizing Building Automation systems to maintain and optimize facility status. Key responsibilities include supervising external contractors during installation and maintenance, initiating necessary inspections by experts and authorities, and performing fault clearance to swiftly resolve disturbances. A core function is guaranteeing supply security by managing backup paths and functions as needed. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Master Craftsman or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable background supported by long-term professional experience. Success in this position requires profound expertise in Building and Supply Technology, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication and teamwork skills, including flexibility for occasional on-call duties.
